Turkish PM says 60-70,000 more refugees head to Turkey

Turkish Prime Minister, Ahmet Davutoglu said in the conference that up to 70,000 refugees may be heading to the border, into his country to escape aerial bombardments on Aleppo.

He said Turkey is already hosting more than 2.5 million refugees. At the fundraising conference at London, on Thursday. He said the country had so far spent $10 billion on Syrians who have been placed in refugee camps in the country.

He also blamed the failure of the first round of Syrian peace talks in Geneva on continued bombings of “hospitals and schools in Aleppo and Latikia” by the Syrian government forces.

Meanwhile, Russia accused Turkey of preparing an invasion into Syria.

Saudi military spokesman said on Thursday that the country is ready to send ground troops to Syria to fight the so-called Islamic State group.

Brigadier General Ahmad Bin-Hasan al-Asiri said during a meeting in Brussels next month that,”Any decision would have to be accepted by leaders of the US-led coalition.”
