While speaking at a meeting of the Islamic Society of North America back in 2013 the well-known Muslim speaker Hamza has remarked, “The reality of Turkey is that Turkey has only recently paid off completely their IMF debt. Turkey is one of the only debt free countries on this planet. And why isn’t that on the news?”
He has also questioned ‘Why is Erdogan is demonized as a tyrant when he has shown incredible fiscal responsibility? Then he himself answered the question saying, ‘There are entities in this planet that do not want to see a successful Muslim model. And turkey is an extraordinary country with a great people. They have proven that Muslims and seculars can live side by side.’
