Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao has accepted an invitation from Murat Omeroglu, Consul General of Turkey to participate in their National Day celebrations in Hyderabad on October 29. The Consul General called on the Chief Minister at the Secretariat today.
The Chief Minister reportedly told the Turkey Consul General that Istanbul is a renovated city and he would like to visit it some time. The Consul General said they would make all arrangements for his visit as and when the Chief Minister wanted. The Chief Minister also requested the Consul General to provide some literature about Istanbul. He also invited the Consul General for a lunch to have a detailed discussion on bilateral relations.
