Ambassador of Tunisia in India Tariq Azouz said that his country is keen in further developing its relations with India in all fields. He said the relations between India and Tunisia date back to 1958 and it is expanding day by day. Tunisian leaders have always been impressed by the Indian democracy and its leadership. Tariq Azouz was addressing a press conference here in Hyderabad. He is on the 3-day visit to Hyderabad on the invitation of chairman Indo Arab League Syed Viquaruddin. The visit aims at expanding the cooperation between two countries in various sectors.
He also visited Osmania University’s research center ‘Dairat ul Marif’. He also said that he would try to explore the opportunities to have business and tourism tie ups in the future with Andhra Pradesh. He briefly explained how his country Tunisia was going through a transition and adopting democracy step by step after the social revolution took place in January 2011.
Chairman Indo Arab League Syed Viquaruddin assured every possible effort by Indo Arab League to strengthen relations between both the countries and promotion of business.
