Non-split of Minority institutions has become a reason for tug of war between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh governments. Telangana government has refused to accept Andhra Pradesh government’s orders regarding restoration of two suspended officers of Minority Finance Corporation. Thus tension prevails in Minority Welfare Departments of both the states. It must be noted that Andhra Pradesh Minority Finance Corporation is not yet divided between both the states and Special Secretary Minority Welfare Andhra Pradesh Shaikh Mohammed Iqbal has issued orders of restoration of services of two alleged accused of Minority Finance Corporation scam occurred in 2012.
The orders were issued on Monday night following which both the officers Mohammed Liyaqat Ali General Manager and Shaikh Ahmed Ali Accounts Officer reached to join duty. They presented joining letter to Managing Director Prof. S A Shukoor. Before acting upon the orders the Managing Director sought opinion of Special Secretary Telangana Syed Jaleel. Special Secretary issued a memo to the Managing Director asking him not to act upon Andhra Pradesh government’s orders. Thus both the officers were stopped from joining the duty.
