Trade Union Coordination Centre (TUCC) National secretary S.P. Tiwary has demanded the Central government to call tenders for the mining leases and 2G spectrum, through Global Open tender system only.
Speaking to the media persons here on Thursday, Tiwary demanded the Central government to bring back the black money stashed away in the foreign banks. He alleged the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party leaders had got the Coal mining allocation. He alleged that the UPA-2 has looted the country in the 2G spectrum, KG basin Gas allocation and Coal Mining allocations. He alleged that four families from the ruling party and corporate houses with political support were investing the black money in the country through Dubai and , Singapore.
Tiwary demanded the Central government to prepare the labour legislations for the welfare of unorganized sector workers in the country. He wanted the State governments and Union Territories to constitute social security Boards for welfare of unorganized sector workers in the country. He wanted the Central government to fix minimum wage Rs 10,000 to unorganized sector workers.
He informed that 12 National organized Trade Unions would conduct National Convention on ‘Unorganized Sector workers legislations’ on September 4 at New Delhi.
