Hyderabad: Telangana TDP President L. Ramana on Sunday demanded that the State Government release a White Paper on issues concerning farmers.
Speaking to media persons at NTR Trust Bhavan here, Ramana pointed out the Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has claimed that 24 lakh farmers have been issued No Dues Certificates. He asked KCR to release a White Paper on the same while disclosing all the details. Further, he alleged that the State Government was hiding real figures relating to crop loan waiver scheme and interest levied on loan dues.
Ramana asked the TDP workers to work among farmers and give them an assurance so as to prevent suicides. (INN)
