Telangana TDP politburo member Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy today accused the State government of turning Hyderabad city into a hub for narcotic drugs. During TDP regime, the city was a hub of health, education, tourism and IT, he added.
Speaking to the media at NTR trust bhavan here on Friday, the TDP leader said the unearthing of drug mafia and arrest of peddlers have created fear and people are afraid of visitingHyderabad city. The drug mafia has reportedly trapped school and engineering students for selling drugs among them, he said and demanded that the State government deal with drug peddlers with iron hand. He also said irrigation minister Harish Rao, instead of indulging in publicity of projects should concentrate on completion of the projects. He also alleged that the minister was visiting old projects which were started during the previous TDP rule. (NSS)
