The Telangana State RTC management today announced increase of Dearness Allowance by 3.4 percent to its employees. The management had taken a decision last year to increase DA from 21.5% to 24.9% but failed to implement the same due to lack of funds. The State government issued a G.O. today to hike the DA this month.
The TSRTC Employees Unions urged the JMD to clear pending arrears also. They said it was not proper to the State government to pay only one month DA. They also urged the management to clear the arrears of pay revision and leave encashment. (NSS)
