Chairman of Telangana State Public Service Commission Dr. G. Chakrapani told that tests for recruitments to various posts will be held as per the old system. He further told that a committee was setup under the chairmanship of Prof. Haragopal which submitted its report. This report has been forwarded to the Govt. The tests would be conducted as per the old system. Dr. Chakrapani told that very soon the new syllabus would be displayed on the website of the commission. He also informed that there is no change in the syllabus of group – I service. Group – II will be based on multiple choice questions. He informed that representations have been sent by many students to minimize the syllabus of Mathematics for recruitment of lecturers. In view of it, the syllabus is likely to be changed. There is every possibility of inclusion of History of Telangana, Civilization of Telangana, Monetary System, Social Conditions and Telangana Struggle. It is also probable that the events from 1948 to 2014 will also form part of syllabus.
