TSGENCO, here on Wednesday launched its official website, which can be accessed at URL
TSGENCO Chairman & managing director D Prabhakar Rao inaugurated the website and also inaugurated and released the e-mailing solution of TSGENCO at its corporate office, Vidyut Soudha here in the presence of functional chiefs of TSGENCO.
It may be mentioned here that Telangana Power Generation Corporation Limited (TSGENCO) has been established under Companies Act of 2013 and started operations from June 2, the appointed day as the AP Reorganisation Act of 2014. TSGENCO has a total installed capacity of 4365.3 MW of which thermal 2282.8 MW, Hydel 2081.8 MW and solar 1.0 MW with total assets of Rs 14,905 crores and equity Rs 1038 crores.
As per the directive of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhara Rao, the TSGENCO was spearheading to add 6000 MW in the next three years. Keeping in view the demand for massive capacity addition, the TSGENCO has stepped up a number of initiatives to achieve the target set by the Telangana Government under the dynamic leadership of D Prabhakar Rao, chairman and managing director of TSGENCO.
