Hyderabad: Due to the introduction of online service in Telangana State and in the wake of reforms made in the education sector, better results are being seen. As a consequent of it, students of Telangana State are getting benefited.
Due to the unique step taken by Govt. of Telangana for giving top priority to education sector, private colleges have come under the scanner.
In the first phase of admissions in Govt. degree colleges, 32,101 allotments have been made which is 25% more than the previous year’s admissions.
It is also reported that after 20 years, many new courses have been introduced in Govt. degree colleges which is attracting the students. In the first phase of web counseling, 1, 29, 790 candidates exercised their choice to select the college. Out of which 1, 21, 307 candidates were allotted seats in various degree colleges.
