Telangana Government today decided to stall waters to Nagarjuna Sagar right canal. During a high level review meeting with officials on Sagar water issue, Irrigation minister T Harish Rao said that Andhra Pradesh Government has already drawn 44 tmc additional waters than the share allocated to it. As a result water level in Sagar came down to much low, he said. Keeping this in view the government has decided to stop releasing waters to right canal, the minister maintained. (NSS)
