Hyderabad: As a part of Palle Pragathi programme, the Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society (TMREIS) has conducted “Patashala Pragathi” programme in all Telangana Minority Residential Schools and colleges across the State to build social responsibility among students.

Shafiullah, IFS., Secretary Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society said, “Taking an inspiration from on-going the Palle Pragathi programme by the Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrasekhar Rao to turn all villages into clean and green entities and make the villages of Telangana State as role models for others in the country, the Secretary of TMREIS felt that this concept should be taught to every student of TMREIS.
In this connection all the 204 TMR Schools and 12 Colleges were instructed to implement “Patashala Pragathi” Programme on every Saturday from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM by involving students, principals, teachers, junior lecturers and non-teaching staff.
Mr. B. Shafiullah further stated that the life of people, who reached higher positions in the life, would start only from school itself. So, students should learn everything in the schools. At this age, children would spend most of their time in schools and they should try to learn as many things as possible.
He participated in “Patashala Pragathi” initiative at TMR Schools Ibrahimpatnam Girls – 1 & Rajender Nagar Girl -1 at Ibrahimpatnam by planting 3 saplings and cleaning the surroundings along with students, teaching and non-teaching staff.
Addressing the students, he said that this initiative is aimed to build social responsibility among the students. To create more awareness about the programme, the students will also visit nearby villages and participate in Palle Pragathi. They will also interact with the villagers and officials and learn more about the programme.
