Officials of Telangana Government M G Gopal, Principal Secretary, MAUD, . T. Chiranjeevulu, Commissioner, HMDA; Dr. B. Janardhan Reddy, Commissioner, GHMC; S Devender Reddy, Chief City Planner, GHMC; Purushotham Reddy, Director, HMDA, today held discussions with Members of the Real Estate Associations on new rule document on the industry.
The meeting focused on speedy disposal of permissions and introduction of a system like TS-iPASS for industries, which will bring name and fame to the State Government. Speedy disposal of permissions will also help to increase the revenue to the Government. Some of the key discussion points include Payment of fees in installments, Transfer of Development rights to facilitate road widening programmes for new projects by government, Speedy disposal of permissions through online sanctions and Issue of Occupancy Certificates etc.
The officials noted the issues raised by the Associations and assured to resolve them as soon as possible. On the side-lines of the meeting, Telangana Real Estate Developers Association (TREDA) requested MAUD department to organize meetings every quarter to discuss the growth of the real estate sector and revenue to the State Government.

Dasharath Reddy, President, Telangana Real Estate Developers Association (TREDA), G V Rao, President, Telangana Developers Association (TDA), S Ram Reddy, President, Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI) and C Prabhakar Rao, President, Greater City Builders Association (GCBA) said: “We are delighted to be part of the meeting with Government of Telangana to discuss the core points to bring out the new rule document which is in the interest of the Government to simplify Real Estate Industry rules & regulations. Members of the real estate industry have joined hands to work closely with Govt. of Telangana to solve the issues and concerns of the industry”.(NSS)
