Telangana State is surpassing other states in India in terms of growth, according to Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao. Participating in some development works of laying a pipeline and a nala wall at Manikonda area here, the minister maintained that the state is witnessing a speedy growth and development in every sector. With peoples mandate, the TRS Government successfully tided over power crisis, he claimed. ‘We are spending huge funds for enabling the villages and towns to get uninterrupted power supply’, Harish Rao stated.
Under the stewardship of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, the government is focusing on welfare and development with equal importance. The people should participate in the development process, he exhorted. Since the people are extending their support to these programs, the state is making rapid strides in every sector surpassing other states, he pointed out. The flagship programs like Mission Bhagiratha, Mission Kakatiya are proving handy to supply safe waters to every house hold and distribute irrigation waters to every crop in rural pockets, Harish Rao said. Niti Ayog Vice Chairman Arvind Panagaria is coming with a team of officials to Hyderabad on April 12.. The Central team will take stock of these two schemes and look into their implementation and progress, he noted. He also said that the Centre has asked other states through writing letters to replicate these schemes which are useful.(NSS)
