Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today said that first of its kind new industrial policy in the country being unveiled at HICC on June 12 should raise eye brows at international level. The policy will be released in the presence of 2500 delegates including noted industrialists, business honchos, IT, Business school representatives, Pharma, Textiles, Automobiles and others.
In a high level review meeting at camp office KCR directed the officials to make arrangements for online applications with all details and to be downloaded soon after launching the new industrial policy. In a “plug and play” method the policy of “single window without grills” message will be announced amid 2500 delegates including national and regional media persons he said. TSIIC has 1.60 lakh acres of land for the industries, companies and others coming up with investments. A chasing cell will take care of giving permissions in just two weeks. The main problem of power was resolved by purchasing from other states and Telangana will become a surplus state in future, he felt.
The government will supply 24 hours uninterrupted power and provide all facilities and infrastructure to the industries, businesses and companies in the state he said. Telangana State is bestowed with all advantages of better facilities, infrastructure, security, away from earthquakes, semi- aired tropical area besides existence of national international level institutions and Defence organizations. He said that new industrial policy will fetch more investments to generate better employment opportunities. (NSS)
