Hyderabad: Govt. of Telangana State on Friday announced that EAMCET will be conducted afresh for filling up the seats in Medical and Dental Colleges. This announcement is made after Center decided to promulgate an ordinance to keep state boards out of the ambit of the NEET this year.
However, Union Health Minister, J.P. Nadda said that the Central Government is “fully committed” to the NEET system. He also clarified that the Center is not trying to end the NEET exam through an ordinance route.
Meanwhile, after the Center issued an Ordinance postponing NEET for the next year and allowing the States to go ahead with their respective tests for medical admissions this year, AP Education Minister, Ganta Srinivasa Rao announced that the results of AP EAMCET-Medical Stream will be released on Saturday.
