Hyderabad: The names of five of the 21-newly created districts have been changed by the Telangana government on Tuesday. A few months ago the government had reorganized the 10 districts of Telangana into 31 districts.
The government issued orders on Tuesday stating that the Bhadradri district will henceforth be officially known as Bhadradri-Kothagudem while the Gadwal district will be officially called Jogulamba-Gadwal, the Yadadri district will be called Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri while the Rajanna district has been rechristened Rajanna-Siricilla district.
The spelling of Komaram Bheem which was earlier Asifabad has been changed to Kumuram Bheem.
