Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has decided to give an amount of Rs. 2 Lakh as one time lump sum payment to all those who belong to Telangana State and are selected for the National Defence Academy course.
A batch of 17 students from National Defence Academy belonging to Telangana State called on the Chief Minister this evening at camp office. Addressing the students, the Chief Minister announced the payment of Rs. 2 Lakh each. These students are all from Telangana State and belong to June 2014, January 2015 and June 2015 batches. The payment of Rs. 2 Lakh will be made to all those who belong to Telangana State and irrespective of the Income limit on their selection to NDA.
The NDA candidates profusely thanked the Chief Minister for this gesture. Sainik Welfare Director Col. P. Ramesh Kumar was also present when the candidates called on the Chief Minister. (INN)
