TS Govt. making arrangement for a smoother pilgrimage: Dy CM

Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Mohammed Ali told while inaugurating the first orientation camp for selected Hajj pilgrims that government of Telangana State is taking all possible measures to provide better facilities to the Hajj pilgrims. Chief Minister is very keen in this matter, he asserted.

The orientation camp was held at Hi-Tech Garden Function Hall, Old Malakpet near water tank, behind Race Course Ground. He further told that last year nearly 600 pilgrims were provided food and accommodation in Rubat, this year efforts are on to provide accommodation to 1000 pilgrims. He revealed that there were 6 to 7 Rubats in Saudi Arabia constructed by the erstwhile Hyderabad state which have been acquired under extension project. Hence efforts are on to acquire alternate space to construct new buildings.

Mr. Syed Omer Jaleel Minority Welfare Department also addressed on the occasion. Special Officer Telangana State Hajj Committee Prof. S A Shukoor presided over the programme.
