Hyderabad: Health Minister Dr. Lakshma Reddy said that the State Government was planning to introduce biometric system of attendance for staff of all hospitals across Telangana State.
Speaking after laying foundation stone for Dental Hospital building in Osmania General Hospital premises here on Thursday, the Health Minister said that the state government was taking several measures to restore people’s faith on government hospitals. He said doctors and other staff should be punctual in their duties and try hard to provide better services to the poor people.
Lakshma Reddy said that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has provided maximum funds for the Medical and Health Sector. He said besides upgradation of existing hospitals with modern equipment, the Telangana Government was establishing new hospitals in the State.
The function was also attended by Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Lok Sabha MP B. Narasaiah Goud and other senior officials. (INN)
