The Telangana Government on Thursday accorded sanction for creation of 3,620 posts of Police Constable (Driver).
The Home Department had sent a proposal to the State Government on April 4 seeking permission for recruitment of 3,620 Police Constables (Driver) in the Police Department. While giving its nod, the State Government directed the Home Department to obtain concurrence of Finance Department before initiating measures to fill up the sanctioned posts, wherever service rules prescribe direct recruitment.
