Finance Minister Eatala Rajender on Thursday announced that the last date for submission of applications for bank linked subsidy-cum-loan scheme for the candidates of minority communities will be extended till April 15.
Following request made by MIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi in Legislative Assembly during debate on Appropriation Bill demanding that the date be extended till April 30, the Finance Minister later announced that the date would be extended till April 15. Earlier, the last date was March 27.
It may be mentioned that the Telangana Government had earlier issued orders relaxing eligibility age for candidates belonging to minority communities. Now candidates from 21 to 55 years are eligible to apply for the scheme. Earlier, the age limit was 21 to 40 years. All other conditions for applications and approval would remain the same.
Applications can be submitted through the website www.tsobmms.cgg.gov.in along with all required documents including Aadhar card. (INN)
