Deputy Speaker Padma Devendar Reddy on Wednesday said that the state government has taken numerous measures to develop agri-sector.
Speaking to reporters after taking part in the state government’s green drive initiative, Harita Haram at Mandamarri mandal in Mancherial, Ms Padma said that the state was witnessing unprecedented development on all fronts after the Chief Minister took up the Ayutha Chandi Yagam .
The Deputy Speaker said that the Mission Kakatiya has revived the hopes of farmers who were let down due to successive drought like situations. The recent rains have filled up tanks, which were revived under Mission Kakatiya and due to this development the farmers are happy that they have sufficient irritation resources for the Rabi Crop.
Padma said the state government would take up the third phase of loan waiver and fee reimbursement soon. She hit out at the Opposition parties saying that they were habituated to criticize the government ever for their own wrong doings. (INN)
