Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali has denied reports of Government Urdu Medium Schools not having adequate infrastructure facilities for the present strength of students in GHMC area and other districts in Telangana State.
Replying to a query raised by MIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi and other MLAs during Question Hour in Legislative Assembly on Sunday, the Deputy CM said out of 1571 Urdu Medium schools, 219 schools are running in private buildings and have sufficient infrastructure facilities. The schools have average Teacher Pupil Ratio as 1:25. He said 219 schools are running in rented buildings and proposals to construct schools buildings based on enrolment and space availability are under process. (INN)
