The Telangana Government on Monday issued orders constituting a Cabinet Sub-Committee to negotiate and resolve the issues pertaining to the strike by RTC employees of Telangana.
The Committee will be headed by Labour and Home Minister Nayini Narasimha Reddy as its chairman. Finance Minister Eatala Rajender and Transport Minister Patnam Mahender Reddy will be its members while Secretary, Transport, Road and Buildings Department will be the Committee’s convener.
The Committee will also make recommendation to improve the operation and financial condition of the Road Transport Corporation. “The Cabinet Sub-Committee shall give its recommendations expeditiously in view of the urgency of the issues involved,” GO RT No. 1325 issued by Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma said on Monday.
