TS Govt committed to offer best medical services: Laxma Reddy

Telangana Government is committed to offer medical services on par with the private hospitals, said Health Minister Dr. Laxma Reddy.

He addressed the gathering at the TS ASICON-2015 in a city hotel on Friday. Talking to 600 plus surgeons gathering, Dr. Laxma Reddy said the conference of TS ASICON, which was supposed to have been held in Osmaina Medical College, had to be shifted due to logistical problems. Hence, Laxma Reddy promised them that he would see to it that a state of the art auditorium comes up Osmania Medical College and it would be ready by this time next year. Speaking further, he added that both private hospitals and surgeons play a key role along with the government in providing good health care services to poor.

Earlier he flagged off ASICON Jagruti Yatra Vehicle, which will travel and reach Gurgaon where ASICON 2015 meet will be held from 17th to 20th December. The biggest contract of this conference was bagged by Hyderabad basd Violet Woldwide company, which is doing event set up with German structures in Gurgaon for ten thousand doctors.

Jagruti Yatra is a unique awareness activity, undertaken by ASICON. It is ASICON on Wheels. It is a unique initiative organized for the first time in the history of any Medical Conference in the world. The Platinum Jubilee Annual Conference of The Association of Surgeons of India will be held at Gurgaon from 17th to 20th December.

The first TS ASICON 2015 is the 1st Annual Conference of newly formed state. It will conclude on Saturday. (INN)
