The Government of Telangana has initiated a good trend of commending the performance of individuals of Prohibition & Excise Department.
R.V. Chandravadhan, Commissioner of Prohibition & Excise Telangana State and Dr. Akun Sabharwal, Director of Enforcement, Prohibition & Excise Telangana State on Thursday awarded the individuals who have performed exceedingly well during the month of October-2015 and also commended their services.
In the month of October-2015 the staff of Hyderabad District has detected a total of 406 Cases involving 315 accused persons and have seized a total of 12,413 litres of I.D. Liquor and 22 vehicles used for the illegal transportation of IDL have been seized. The Deputy Commissioner of Prohibition & Excise, Hyderabad has reviewed individual performances and has recommended that the individuals who have performed extremely well to be commended. Eight persons have been detained under P.D.Act and 142 persons have been binded over under 110 Cr.P.C during these two months. (INN)
