The Telangana Government has appointed senior IAS officer Syed Omer Jaleel as Special Secretary to Government, Minorities Welfare Department in the existing vacancy.
Omer Jaleel had earlier served on the same post in the united Andhra Pradesh and post-bifurcation, he continued on the same post for Andhra Pradesh. Since he has been allotted to Telangana cadre, he said appointed on this post by Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma. He will assume the charge of his new assignment on Friday.
Omer Jaleel has earlier served as Project Director of Charminar Pedestrian Project in MCH and Secretary in the office of Commissioner of Land Administration Government of AP. (INN)
