Hyderabad: Dept. of Irrigation issued orders for the release of Rs. 26.24 crore as part of Mission Kakatiya II.
Mr. Harish Rao told that the capacity of water reservoirs is being increased. Out of the amount sanctioned Rs. 12 crore would be tapped from Mission Kakatiya Trust Fund and Rs. 14.24 crore from State Fund later.
It remains to be seen how far Govt. of Telangana and the officials of the Dept. of Irrigation would succeed. It is very early to predict the results.
