Hyderabad City Police Commissioner M. Mahendar Reddy, IPS, here on Saturday announced imposition of traffic diversions and restrictions in the city in order to relieve traffic congestion, to maintain smooth flow of traffic and to ensure public safety in connection with “Telangana State Formation Day Celebration” on June 7 on Upper Tank bund from 1800 hrs to 2200 hrs.
The traffic coming from Secunderabad and proceeding towards Upper Tank bund will be diverted at Karbala Maidan – Bible House towards Kawadiguda – Lower Tank bund. Traffic coming from Kattamaisamma and Kawadiguda side towards Childrens park -Upper Tank bund will not be allowed and diverted at DBR Mills towards Kawadiguda. Traffic coming from Iqbal Minor towards Upper Tank bund will be diverted at Old Gate Secretariat on to the Telugutally flyover – Kattamaisamma. Traffic coming from Telugu Tally towards upper Tank Bund will be diverted at Ambedkar Statue towards Liberty.
Vehicular traffic between Nallagutta junction to Buddha Bhavan will not be allowed.
Parking arrangements for car
All the invitees coming with A, B, car passes can come to the parking places from Secunderabad via Kawadiguda or Telugutally, Kattamaisamma and reach Lower Tank Bund parking lots and C car pass invitees can come from Necklace Rotary and Karbala Maidan for their alighting point at Budha Bhavan.
‘A’ car pass invitees should alight at Mosque or Kawadiguda when they are coming from Sec’bad and they should park vehicles at Dhobighat and proceed by walk to function place. When they coming from Kattamaisamma also they will alight at Mosque and their vehicles will be parked at Dhobighat and proceed by walk to function place.
‘B’ car pass invitees should alight at Mosque near DBR mill and their vehicles parked at Snow World and proceed by walk to function place. C’ car pass vehicles alight at Budha Bhavan and Vehicles Park from Budha Bhavan to Nallagutta facing towards to Rotary and they will proceed by walk to the place of function. After the function is over, all the A, B, C, car pass holders will proceed to their respective alighting places and retreat. No invitees’ cars will be allowed without valid car pass and all are advised to display their car passes.
The ministers, the Chief Justice and other Justices, Council Chairman, Assembly Speaker, advisors to Govt of Telangana, MPs, MLAs, MLCs have been advised to come via Ministers Road, Ranigunj, Necklace Road, Secunderabad, Lower Tank Bund and alight at Children’s Park and their vehicles will be parked at Dhobighat. No vehicle will be permitted beyond Children Park Junction.
All artists, who come by buses should go to parking place at NTR stadium after completion of program to board their buses and retreat. All the invitees are advised to keep mobile number of their drivers with them to communicate after program. All invitees are requested to reach in advance to the venue to avoid any inconvenience and be seated at designated place in time. (NSS)
