HYDERABAD: Telangana’s caretaker chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has won from the Gajwel assembly constituency.
According to the Election Commission of India, the TRS president is leading against Congress candidate Vanteru Pratap Reddy and BJP’s Akula Vijaya.

A total of 1,821 candidates contested for 119 assembly seats in Telangana.
Rao’s nephew T. Harish Rao, who was Irrigation Minister created a record by winning the Siddipet seat after defeating his nearest rival Bhavani Marikanti of Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) with a majority of 1,20,650 votes.
