In connection with the online education classes, a proposal is made to conduct a weekly WhatsApp test to assess the student’s educational progress.
A program under the title ‘Education at Home’ has been launched where students from 1st to 8th standard can take their weekly tests through WhatsApp. In view of the coronavirus pandemic, the schools have launched online classes. The purpose of the test on WhatsApp is to better the education system.
The phone (No.8595524405) can be used for the WhatsApp chat. The students would be given 8 questions related to two subjects.
Currently, this test is open for students from 1st to 8th standard for English and Maths. Very soon, the other subjects would also be included in the weekly test.
The students from 1st to 10th shall be provided with a ‘worksheet’ and they have to answer 10 questions. Video links would be given to the students to help them prepare their answers. More than 27,000 students have signed up for this facility. Hyderabad recorded the highest number of students while Nagarkurnool recorded the lowest.
