The Engineering, Agriculture, Medicine Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) passed off peacefully across the Telangana State on Sunday.
About 92.34% candidates appeared for the Engineering stream held in the morning session. Similarly, 93% candidates of Agriculture and Medicine streams appeared for their test in the afternoon session. For the first time, bio-metric system was used to mark the attendance of candidates. This time EAMCET centres were established only in government colleges.
Despite some minor glitches the examination passed off peacefully across the State. (INN)
