The Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET-2017) will be held across the Telangana State on May 12 for admissions into various courses except MBBS and BDS. The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Hyderabad will issue the notification for EAMCET-2017 on February 27.
According to Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) Chairman Prof. Papi Reddy, online applications would be accepted from 3rd March onwards. The last date for submission of applications will be 3rd April. However, the candidates submit the application with a late fee of Rs. 500 upto April 12, with Rs. 1,000 upto April 21 and with late fee of Rs. 5,000 upto 29th April.
Corrections in the submitted applications forms would be allowed from 7th to 20th April. Hall tickets can be downloaded from 1st to 9th May. On May 12th, the exam for engineering stream will be held from 10 AM to 1 PM and for medicine and agricultural streams, test will be held from 2.30 PM to 5.30 PM.
EAMCET-2017 Primary Key will be released on May 13 and objections will be received till May 18. The final results will be declared on May 22.
Papi Reddy informed that the admission process would be completed by June end and engineering classes would commence from 1st July. He also informed that three examination centres for EAMCET-2017 would also be set up in Vijayawada, Tirupati and Visakhapatnam of neighbouring Andhra Pradesh State. (INN)
