TS CM meets PM, neglects reservation issue: Is KCR forging alliance with BJP for 2019 elections?

Hyderabad: CM of TS, Mr. KCR instead of offering the gift of Eid-al-Fitr, disappointed the Muslims of the State by not raising the issue of 12% reservation for Muslims with PM Modi.

Before his visit to Delhi, an impression was given that he would take up the issue of reservations for Muslims and STs during his meeting with PM. However, CM submitted 10 separate representations in which the issue of reservations is not included.

He raised the issues of separate High Court, Central Assistance for Kaleshwaram Project, allotment of Defence land for Secretariat, allocation of funds for underdeveloped districts, IIMs for TS and other issues.

The press note issued by CMO reveals that in the representation made to PM, there is no mention of reservation issue which clearly indicates that KCR has no interest with this issue.

Mr. KCR could have given the gift on the occasion of Eid-al-Fitr by raising reservation issue but it did not happen.

It may be mentioned that he had also avoided saying anything about reservations on the occasion of Iftaar party hosted by him on 8th June in Hyderabad.

Is the CM afraid of PM over reservation issue? Or is he making preparations to forge an alliance with BJP for the next General Elections?
