On the eve of 128th birth Anniversary of Moulana Abul Kalam Azad, first Union Minister for Education, the Telangana Government is celebrating the day as “Minorities Welfare Day’ on November 11.
The Minorities’ Welfare Department is organizing a grand function on the occasion at Nizam College Ground on November 11 at 3 pm. Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao will be the chief guest and would inaugurate the function.
Mohd.Mahmood Ali, Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana State and Kadiyam Srihari, Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Education, Govt. of Telangana will preside over the function. People’s representatives, religious scholars and prominent personalities and voluntary organizations from different walks of life will attend the function to honour the occasion.
Students of Telangana Minorities’ Residential Schools of Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts will present their performance and cultural activities and in the rest of the districts all the District Minorities Welfare Officers will organize and celebrate the Minorities Welfare Day in a benefiting manner in the entire State of Telangana.
