Budget session of Telangana Assembly will commence on Mar 7 and will end on Mar 27. Governor ESL Narasimhan will address the Budget session on the first day and the house will discuss on the motion of thanks to the Governor’s speech from March 8 to 10, while the Government is planning to conduct the house on Mar 8 though it is Sunday. There will be no sittings on March 12, 15, 21 and 22.
Finance Minister E Rajender will present the budget on March 11. . Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today called on Governor ESL Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan and spoke on the full time budget session and appealed to take necessary measures. Earlier, he made a visit to Assembly and held discussions with Speaker Madhusudhan Chary and officials on conducting the budget session. In all likelihood, the budget 2015 could surpass the previous one of Rs 1.06 lakh crores (for nine months) and full time budget of 12 months may be pegged at Rs 1.30 lakh crores or a hefty Rs 1.50 lakh crores, it is learnt.
