TS: Azharuddin campaigns for Cong, refuses to comment on Akbaruddin Owaisi’s statement

Nalgonda: Mohammed Azharuddin, Congress star campaigner highlighted many issues including Sardar Patel Statue, demonetization, different schemes of TRS for minorities, 12% reservation for Muslims etc. However, refused to comment on Akbaruddin Owaisi’s statement, “no government can be formed without MIM’s support”.

According to the report published in The Hans India, Mr. Azharuddin questioned the need of spending Rs. 3500 crore for the construction of Sardar Patel Statue when Indian are facing poverty and hunger.

It may be mentioned that Mr. Azharuddin was addressing the public in Nalgonda. He campaigned for Congress candidate Komatireddy Venkat Reddy.

Commenting on demonetization, he alleged that it pushed the country 20 years back.

Expressing his views on small parties, he said that the lifespan of such parties are small.

He further said that the life of Muslims will not change by distributing clothes in Ramadan, providing meagre finanicial assistance in Shadi Mubarak Scheme etc.

He termed KCR’s 12% reservation promise as impractical.

Despite speaking on various issues, he refused to comment on Mr. Akbaruddin Owaisi’s statement.

He asked people of Telangana to vote Congress which formed Telangana State.
