Hyderabad: Election Commission had announced that all the irregularities in the voters’ list have been rectified but this claim proved false.
In Nampally Assembly Constituency, the names of Electoral Officer and Chief Election Commissioner of India were found. They failed to get their names deleted from this list. Mr. Feroz Khan told that their names are with their photographs in the voters’ list of Owaisipura slum area.
These officers are wonderstruck that how their names got entered into the list.
It may be mentioned that Mr. Feroz Khan was a Congress candidate contesting from Nampally Assembly constituency.
Mr. Rajat Kumar, Chief Electoral Officer of Hyderabad himself got surprised that how his name was entered in the voters’ list.
Mr. Feroz Khan further told that the Election Commission does not have the required machinery to function. He hoped that when all the irregularities are rectified in the voters’ list, Congress will win all the seven constituencies of the old city and Lok Sabha seat of Hyderabad.
