Hyderabad: Pilgrims belonging to Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states are waiting for Hajj days after performing Umrah. Hajj days will begin after a week. Some pilgrims have fallen ill due to intense heat in Makkah, of them 2 have been shifted to hospital while two others were discharged after giving medical aid.
Special Officer Hajj Committee told that he contacted Hajj volunteers in Makkah on Tuesday and got acquainted with the situation. He asked the wellbeing of the pilgrims of both Green and Azizia category. All Hajj volunteers are performing their duty well they have been directed to report their performance on daily basis.
Prof. Shukoor told that due to intense heat in Makkah some elderly pilgrims have fallen sick however they are fast recovering. All pilgrims of both the states are well and each one has got Sim card of his/her own.
