Hyderabad: Pilgrims of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh began returning from Madina Munawwara. They will start arriving at Shamsabad International Airport from midnight today. The first batch will land at the airport on 5th October, 3:35 am. Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Secretary Minority Welfare Syed Omer Jaleel, Special Officer Hajj Committee Prof. S A Shukoor and other officials will welcome the first batch. Pilgrims will return through special flights of Air India.
Meanwhile the Hyderabadi pilgrim who was in police custody has been released. He has been sent to Madina Munawwara. He will return to Hyderabad through his scheduled flight on October 7. 18-year-old, Hyderabadi youth was taken into police custody for picking up money of another pilgrim by mistake, after 9 days custody the respective Qazi declared him innocent and ordered his release.
