TS agrees to help AP for EAMCET counselling

The Education Ministers of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have agreed to constitute an eight member committee which would facilitate IT infrastructure, data sharing, manpower and venue to hold counselling for AP EAMCET on June 12.

The decision to constitute the committee was taken during the meeting of Telangana Deputy Chief Minister (Education) Kadiyam Srihari and his AP counterpart Ganta Srinivasa Rao at the State Secretariat here on Tuesday. Prior to this, both called on Governor ESL Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan who advised them to resolve contentious issues amicably.

Speaking to media persons, Kadiyam Srihari said it was not possible to provide AP officials working with the Telangana State Council for Higher Education to home state as bifurcation of employees was yet to be completed. He said the issue could be resolved during the proposed meeting of two Chief Ministers. However, he said that the committee would assist the AP Government in smooth conduct of EAMCET counselling.
