Hyderabad: The Rachakonda Police in association with Yadadri Bhongiri and Ranga Reddy District Administration has taken up the pre-recruitment intensive coaching for the poor and rural youth of Ranga Reddy, and Yadadri Bhongir districts of Telangana. The aim of this initiative is to empower the rural youth to appear for Police Constable Job.
Over, 1453 youngsters were trained both indoor and outdoor for 15 months and 588 were selected for the designation of police constable on Saturday and were felicitated by the higher officials.
The programme was initiated by Mahesh M Bhagwat, Commissioner of Police Rachakonda, as a part of Community Policing initiative Jayam manade in order to help the rural youth to create an awareness about the process of police recruitment. The idea was supported by the Yadadri Bhongir, Ranga Reddy District Collectors Anitha Ramachandran, IAS, Raghunandan Rao, IAS, D. S. Lokesh Kumar IAS.
The Government of Telangana notified 16925 Police Jobs in the month of July 2018. Immediately after notification, the Commissioner of Police Rachakonda gave a publication offering free training to the backward rural youth for pre recruitment training. Accordingly, 1453 rural youth attended for the screening test.
A lady from Sainikpuri who attended felicitations shared success story of her two daughters and one son getting selected through pre recruitment training batch at Amberpet police headquarters.
Addressing the selected candidates, Mr. Yadadri Bhongir Collector, Dr. S. Harish asked the candidates to remember the cooperation they received from officers and that they have to return back to the society.
Anita Ramachandran urged the candidates to be people friendly and honest, Manchireddy Kishanreddy MLA Ibrahim patnam praised the efforts of district administration of Yadadri, Rangareddy and Rachakonda Commissionerate for providing youth in general and of Ibrahimpatnam in particular an opportunity to enter the government service.
Mahesh Bhagwat, CP Rachakonda congratulated all the candidates, thanked all the stakeholders who cooperated in organizing the training and wished that the program should continue as Jayam Manade as long as all candidates who are trained get into police job.
