Trump rejects Clinton’s ‘ISIS’ best recruiter’ claim

Washington: Leading Republican presidential aspirant Donald Trump dismissed Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton’s assertion that the Islamic State was using his videos as a recruitment tool saying she is “a liar” and “made up” the claim.

“I think that my words represent toughness and strength. Hillary is not strong. Hillary is weak, frankly. She’s got nothing,” Trump told NBC News as he made rounds over the popular Sunday talk shows.

“We need a president with great strength and great stamina. And Hillary doesn’t have that. We cannot have another bad president like we have right now. We need a president with tremendous intelligence, smarts, cunning, strength and stamina,” he said referring to a few second delay in Clinton’s appearance on the Democratic presidential debate stage yesterday.

During the debate, Clinton alleged that the anti-Muslim rhetoric videos of Trump have now become a recruitment tool for the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS). “Nobody has been able to back that up. It’s nonsense. It’s just another Hillary lie.

She lies like crazy about everything, whether it’s strips where she was being gunned down in a helicopter or an airplane, she’s a liar and everybody knows that. She just made this up in thin air,” Trump said. Trump denied Clinton’s claim about his videos being used by ISIS on multiple talk shows.

“There is no such video. And they may make one up, knowing the Clintons and knowing Hillary, but there’s no — there’s nobody — she just made it up. I mean she made it up. It was a sound bite,” Trump told ABC News. Trump blasted Clinton’s accomplishments as the Secretary of State.

“She may have travelled a lot, but she didn’t do the job, because the entire world blew up around her. So she wasted a lot of time and a lot of energy and a lot of money and, frankly, she wasted a lot of lives, because her policies were a disaster for the world,” Trump alleged.

“The Middle East has blown up around her. Her decisions were horrible. And hundreds of thousands of people have been killed because of her faulty decisions,” he said. Responding to critics after the Russian President Vladimir Putin praised him, Trump said he is absolutely fine with the praise coming from Moscow.

“If Putin respects me and if Putin wants to call me brilliant and other things that he said which were, frankly, very nice, I’ll accept that and I’ll accept that on behalf of our country, because if we get along well with Russia, that’s a positive thing, not a negative thing,” he said.
