Trump heading to Washington to focus on trade, military

New York [U.S.A]: In a series of tweets posted on Monday, U.S. President Donald Trump informed that he is heading to Washington to focus on trade and slammed Democrats for giving worst trade deals in World History.

However, Trump steered clear on the violent clashes involving Nazi and white supremacist groups over the weekend in Charlottesville, Virginia.

“Heading to Washington this morning. Much work to do. Focus on trade and military. #MAGA,” Trump tweeted.

Trump praised Sen. Luther Strange (R-Ala.), who in polls is trailing a conservative rival in a Republican primary to be contested Tuesday
“Luther Strange of the Great State of Alabama has my endorsement. He is strong on Border & Wall, the military, tax cuts & law enforcement,” Trump tweeted.

Terming Democrats as “obstructionists, Trump tweeted, “The Obstructionist Democrats have given us (or not fixed) some of the worst trade deals in World History. I am changing that fast!”

The President was criticized by members of both parties for condemning bigotry and hatred “on many sides” in his remarks on Saturday about Charlottesville.At least three people were killed and 35 injured after a violence-filled Saturday in Charlottesville, Va., where white nationalists had gathered for one of their largest rallies in at least a decade.
United States President Donald Trump has condemned the hatred “on many sides” in response to the violent white nationalist protests in Charlottesville, Virginia, saying that “the hatred and division in the America must stop as we are all Americans first.”

“We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides,” Trump said during a short statement, adding that he had been closely following terrible events unfolding in Virginia.

Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe on Saturday slammed the white supremacists and neo-Nazis right-wing groups in Charlottesville and asked all of them to go back home.

“Go home, You are not wanted in this great commonwealth. Shame on you” McAuliffe said after a violence erupted during the white supremacist rally claimed three lives and injured at least 34 others. (ANI)
