On Saturday, two youngster were on way to take an exam of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) at CMR College when they were hit by a concrete mixer truck at Kompally. The victims are B. Mohan Kumar, 25, son of B.M. Naik, a resident of Karimnagar district and his friend Rajesh.
According to police, the duo’s bike was bump into concrete mixer truck belonging to Ultra Tech when they reached the Kompally railway bridge near SNR Gardens. Mohan died on the spot as he suffered serious head injuries while Rajesh is being treated.
A case was registered under Sections 304A (Culpable homicide, not amounting to murder) and 337 (Causing hurt by act endangering of others) of the IPC. The truck driver was taken into custody and the truck was seized.
