Muzaffarnagar, February 21: Armed men shot dead a truck driver and his helper when they tried to resist them from looting, police said today.
The armed men intercepted the truck carrying tyres worth lakhs on Panipat-Khatima highway near here and attempted to loot it.
They gunned down the duo when they showed resistance, they said, adding, further investigation is on.
