TRS Women MLAs thank KCR

Hyderabad: TRS women MLAs have thanked the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for giving ample respect to the women by taking several steps like providing reservations to the women in Market Committees.
Deputy Speaker Padma Devender Reddy, Government Whip Gongidi Sunitha, MLAs Konda Surekha, Bodige Shoba, Kova Laxmi, Ajmeera Rekha Naik and others met the Chief Minister at the latter’s chamber during the tea break on Tuesday after the Market Committees Bill was passed in the House. The Women MLAs also thanked the Chief Minister for enhancing the salaries of MLAs and MLCs. They expressed happiness for extending the Kalyana Laxmi scheme to BCs and economically poor upper castes. Speaking on this occasion, the Women MLAs have said that the decisions of the Chief Minister were in a manner that they will increase the self respect of the women. (NSS)
